The World Premiere of Metro Street was produced by Arts Asia Pacific, Power Arts and the State Theatre Company of South Australia at the Dunstan Playhouse in Adelaide with the world premiere performance on April 7, 2009.

The on-going license to the production is held by Arts Asia Pacific and Power Arts with planning underway for a national Australian tour in 2011.
